The Hart School congratulates pupils on GCSE success

A principal has praised the "resilience and determination" of her students following this year's GCSE results.

A fifth of all pupils at the Hart School in Rugeley achieved 3 A* - B grades with all students passing their Level 3 courses.

The Hart School, a member of Creative Education Trust, also achieved a continued increase in 4+, 5+ and 7+ in the core subjects English, maths, science and languages compared to last year.

And more than 50 per cent of all grades were grade 5 or higher and students also achieved approximately a quarter of a grade higher in every subject compared to last year

Outstanding results were achieved in a broad range of subjects including by Alicia Astle who secured nine Level 9 grades.

Archie Duffy also celebrated five Level 9 grades and four at Level and 8 and Dylan Wooley achieved a Grade 9 in four of his subjects.

Principal Rachael Sandham said: “I have been incredibly impressed with the resilience and determination of our students. Along with the dedicated team of staff and our incredibly supportive parental community, The Hart School continues to improve and provide the young people of Rugeley with an excellent education. The results that students have received are a testament to this.”
