The boy, from Burntwood, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. He has since been bailed with conditions while investigations continue.
Staffordshire Police say the arrest was made after a number of young people were searched on Tuesday (April 15) by a major and organised crime proactive team.
Officers reportedly found multiple bags of cannabis, scales, a mobile phone and £885 in cash.
A spokesperson for the police force said: "We’re continuing to disrupt the drug lines operating across Staffordshire. Officers are gathering intelligence on the serious criminals responsible for drug supply in our communities and are acting proactively to take down the gangs that are coercing vulnerable people into a life of crime.
"More than 1,000 people have been arrested on suspicion of drug and weapon offences since we launched our crackdown in May 2023. More will be coming as we continue to act robustly across the county."
