Adam Benton, 51, was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court last September, after pleading guilty to eight charges relating to sexual activity with a vulnerable woman over 18.

The charges relate to the period June 2017 to September 2021.

Benton was also handed a restraining order for life.

But just a few months into his sentence, on January 15,  he died in what Staffordshire Police said is not being treated as suspicious, according to reports.
