Man wanted by police after gun shots fired in Smethwick injuring three people

A man is wanted after gun shots were fired at a venue in Smethwick injuring three people last year.

This morning (February 22), West Midlands Police launched an appeal to trace Christopher Clarke, who is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident that occurred on June 17. 

Police say shots were fired at Avenue Bar and Restaurant, Rolfe Street, Smethwick at around 3.30am, leaving three people with serious injuries.

A spokesperson for the force said: Following investigations we want to speak to 24-year-old Clarke in connection with the incident. Despite extensive enquiries we've been unable to trace him and we're asking for your help, and any information."
