Catastrophic injuries murdered sex worker sustained in brutal attack detailed in court
A jury has heard the shocking injuries sustained by sex worker Helen Kempster who was raped and murdered in Wolverhampton.

Miss Kempster was found with catastrophic injuries in Kingsland Road, West Park in the early hours of June 16, 2022. She was taken to New Cross Hospital but died within hours.
Rahul Sharma, aged 31, is on trial for her rape and murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court. Currently being held on remand in a secure mental health unit, Sharma, of Horden Road, Wolverhampton, was flanked in the dock by nurses.
Pathologist Dr Brett Lockyer told the jury Miss Kempster, who was in her 40s, died as a result of traumatic blow to her head and shoulders.
