Motorcyclist caught riding at high speed twice in seven days on same road avoids ban
A motorcyclist caught twice in seven days going way over the speed limit on the same stretch of road - once at 100mph - has avoided a driving ban.
Aaron Jones was pictured riding a Suzuki GSF1200 by the same officer standing over the A41 at Hinstock with a speed measuring device on May 25 and June 1.
On the first occasion, the 37-year-old was speeding at 100mph before doing 87mph the following week as he headed towards Tern Hill.
The officer who clocked Jones, PC Paul Bedworth, wasn't able to stop the motorcyclist, but on the second occasion contacted PC Colin Martin to pull him over.
The police motorcyclist said that on June 1 he was told by PC Bedworth about the biker.
