A fifth man has appeared in court accused of killing a delivery worker on the streets of Shrewsbury.

Sukhmandeep Singh was charged with the murder of Aurman Singh yesterday and appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning.

Singh, 23, from Paynels, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, stood in the dock wearing a grey sweatshirt for the brief hearing.

He spoke through a Punjabi Indian interpreter, only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.

Singh was told he faces one charge of murder – the killing of DPD worker Aurman Singh, at Shrewsbury on Monday, August 21.
