'It really is terrifying, you are scared for your kids': Community grieves after girl, 7, dies in suspected hit-and-run

Toys, flowers and heartfelt messages littered the street of Turnstone Road, Bloxwich, where a vigil was being held for the girl who sadly died after allegedly being hit by a motorcycle.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident on the Bloxwich estate shortly after 7pm last night, but the little girl sadly died.

Residents have now called for more to be done to safeguard the streets, expressing their grief at the shocking death of the young girl.

Tanya Hughes, 27, of Bloxwich, said: "It's so horrible, she was so young, only seven. I can't believe something like this has happened.
