Woman injured trying to stop Oldbury ram-raiders stealing quad bike

A woman has been hurt trying to stop a gang of masked attackers stealing a quad bike after they ram-raided a garage at a property in Oldbury.

Up to five raiders wearing balaclavas rammed the garage door of a property on Salop Road at 7.15pm on Thursday, April 15.

The group gained entry to the garage and loaded the quad bike into a white van.

The woman, who was inside the house, came outside to confront the gang and was injured before the thieves made off with the bike.

Police have released a picture of the quad bike in a bid to trace it.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police, said: ""We are appealing for information after this quad bike was stolen from a property on Salop Road in Oldbury.

"A group of four to five white men wearing balaclavas rammed a garage door with a white van on April 15 at 7.15pm, before loading the quad bike into the van and fleeing.

"A woman at the house was injured after confronting the group of men.

"If you recognise this quad bike and can help us track it down or have any information that could help our enquires please call 101 quoting 20/244677/21."
