Woman denies murdering Wolverhampton man found beaten to death in flat

A woman charged with murdering a father in Wolverhampton has pleaded not guilty.

She is accused of murdering 39-year-old Artura Busma, who was found beaten to death in a flat in Tettenhall Road on April 23.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Busma suffered significant blunt force trauma to his head and body.

Simon Wilkins, 27, who was also charged with murder, did not enter a plea and will reappear in court on January 20.

Both Wilkins and Rafferty, who are of different addresses on Tettenhall Road, will remain in custody.

Rafferty will appear back in court on January 27.

A provisional trial date set has been set for March 1.
