Man arrested in connection with car key burglaries across Staffordshire
A man has been charged in connection with a series of car key burglaries in Staffordshire.
It comes after vehicles were taken in Lichfield, Tamworth and Stonnall during the past few months.
Abu-Backar Haji Awes, age 21, of Antony Road, Birmingham has been accused of four counts of burglary, two counts of criminal damage, three counts of theft of a motor vehicle as well as possession of a controlled Class B drug.
He has been remanded in custody following an appearance at North Staffordshire Magistrates on Friday, December 4.
Two other men – aged 19 and 22 and from Birmingham – have been released under investigation in connection with the same offences.
