Man kicked in head after racially attacking teenage girl on West Bromwich bus
A teenage girl was racially abused and kicked on a bus in West Bromwich – before another passenger grabbed her attacker and knocked him to the ground, stamping on his head.
West Midlands Police are investigating after the attack on a bus in Hill Top, West Bromwich at around 5.40pm on October 1.
An argument broke out on the number 79 bus in Moxley, where a passenger was shouting racist remarks at a 16-year-old girl.
He then kicked her, but was grabbed by another passenger, who threw him to the ground and stamped on his head.
A spokesman for the police said: "We have spoken to the girl, and are examining mobile phone footage which has been shared on social media.
"We take racially aggravated crimes extremely seriously, and our enquiries continue. Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch."
