Woman in critical condition after hit by car in Birmingham
A woman remains in a critical condition after she was left with head injuries when she was hit by a car in Birmingham.

The 25-year-old was struck by a red Renault Clio in Bournville at around 10.10am this morning.
The incident happened on Linden Road, at the junction of Woodbrook Road.
The woman has been taken to hospital where she remains in a critical, but stable condition.
The driver of the car stopped and is assisting West Midlands Police with their investigation.
Now the force has called on anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch.
Sergeant Alan Hands, from the serious collision investigation unit, said: "If anyone was on Linden Road earlier this morning and saw what happened I’d urge them to get in touch.
“We believe the woman was heading from the park in the direction of the Bristol Road, so I’m keen for anyone who was in and around the area, either out for essential shopping, or taking their daily exercise to contact me.
"Any vehicles travelling along the road with any dash cam footage would also be helpful."
