Trial date fixed for pair accused of murdering Julia Rawson
Two men accused of murdering a former Dudley Market stallholder are due to stand trial later this year.
Julia Rawson was missing for a month before her remains were discovered near an industrial estate in Tipton.
Nathan Maynard-Ellis, aged 29, of Mission Drive, Dudley Port, Tipton, and 24-year-old David Leesley, of Dereton Close, Russells Hall, Dudley, both deny murder.
They appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court via videolink where their trial was fixed for October 5.
The pair, wearing grey t-shirts and jogging bottoms, spoke only to confirm their names.
Ms Rawson, from Green Park Road in Kates Hill, Dudley, was last seen alive on May 12.
Her remains were found on June 12. She worked on Dudley Market until around five years ago.
Mr Peter Grice, prosecuting, told the court the murder "involved the later finding of a decomposing and dismembered body".
