Police hunt three men after Molineux trouble at Wolves v Villa
Police have released photos of three men they are looking for after trouble at Wolves v Aston Villa this season.
"Disorder" broke out between rival fans after Wolves' Premier League victory at Molineux on November 10, West Midlands Police said.
Officers are keen to trace and talk to the three men pictured in relation to violence which happened on Molineux Street, behind the Steve Bull Stand.
The trouble was reported at 4pm, around 10 minutes after the Sunday afternoon match finished.
The nature of the specific incident is not yet known but it happened after a largely trouble-free derby match, with just two arrests reported on the day.
One was a Wolves fan suspected of possessing a smoke flare in the lower Sir Jack Hayward stand and the other was a 28-year-old man from London who was cautioned for throwing an item onto the pitch from the lower Steve Bull stand.
Wolves won the game 2-1 after goals from Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez were followed by an injury time consolation from Villa's Trezeguet.
Earlier in the same week three people were arrested on the night of the Europa League match against Slovan Bratislava at Molineux, with one clash between the away fans and police caught on video outside the ground.
It is not known if the men police are searching for are believed to be supporters of Wolves or Villa.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Incidents of this sort are rare and we work with clubs and the courts to ban those involved in disorder from future games."
