131mph: Speeding drivers caught by unmarked police car
Police were astonished when two cars belted past at speeds of up to 131mph in poor weather conditions in the early hours.

One of the cars was recorded as travelling at 131mph on the A5 between Telford and Shrewsbury at 5.43am today, and was found to be driven by a provisional licence holder. It and another car passed two unmarked police cars.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson posted a camera still on social media and said: "This driver and another overtook two unmarked police cars on the A5 Telford to Shrewsbury at a ridiculous speed, in horrendous driving conditions.
"To top it he was a provisional licence holder, both cars stopped and reported."
