Three injured in Birmingham nightclub stabbings
The stabbings happened just hours after Home Secretary Sajid Javid visited the area to discuss knife crime.
Three men were stabbed in a nightclub in Birmingham in the latest in a series of knife attacks.
The victims, all in their 20s, were taken to hospital after being knifed in Medleys club on Bristol Road South in the Northfield area of the city. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The incident comes amid intense focus on knife crime in the UK and less than 24 hours after Home Secretary Sajid Javid visited Northfield, as well as Brierley Hill, to speak to police chiefs about the issue.
He said the battle against knife crime was one that "absolutely can be won", and insisted that the Government was "united" in working to reduce serious violence.

“I need anyone who has any information about what happened to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“This is a shocking incident where weapons were sadly used again causing injuries to three people, we need to determine what happened and who is responsible.
“Officers are addressing the rising surge in violence and knife crime. We continue our extra patrols and are still utilising our extensive powers to search people without the need to suspect they are carrying weapons.
“We are committed to tackling the rise in violence in the city and will robustly deal with those intent on causing harm within our communities."
