Man arrested after police investigation into stolen tractors
A man from Walsall was among four people arrested as part of an investigation into stolen tractors.
Police raided three addresses, in Priestley Road, Beehdale, Walsall, as well as in Warwickshire and Leicestershire, after six tractors worth more than £100,000 were taken from Yoxall, Staffordshire, in January.
Searches of a farm in Leicestershire also uncovered two types of plant equipment, believed to have been stolen from Coven, near Wolverhampton, in 2017.
A 36-year-old man from Leicester was arrested on suspicion of burglary, a 22-year-old man from Walsall and a 44-year-old man from Warwickshire were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and a 32-year-old man from Leicester was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
They have since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
