Urgent police appeal... for more detectives
Police in Staffordshire have launched a major search – to find more detectives.
The force is on the hunt for more senior officers to join its ranks and has posted an advert for detective constables to join.
Staffordshire Police says it is in need of more detectives and is seeking applications to join the force.
The advert says: "This is an exciting time for Staffordshire Police. With an ambitious programme underway to transform the way we work, we are now looking for Detective Constables to complement our existing team and drive this work forward.
"There are a number of Detective Constable Vacancies projected across departments within Investigative Services. We are therefore seeking applications for those members of staff who are considering a future working within investigation."
The advert says candidates must be a current detective with PIP level 2 accredited, a serving officer with PIP level 2 accreditation although not currently occupying a detective role, or a serving officer who has successfully passed the National Investigators Examination (NIE).
Those interested should contact Helen Brunjes for an application pack - helen.brunjes@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk.
Applications need to be returned by noon on Wednesday, January 16.
