Lower Gornal stabbing victim 'was father-of-four from Lancashire'
A man stabbed to death in a Dudley street on Tuesday has been named as a father-of-four from Lancashire.
Although the victim is yet to be formally named, friends and family of Yasir Hussain have paid tribute to the 'caring' and 'loving family man' in a series of emotional social media posts.
Mr Hussain, aged 34 and from Nelson, near Burnley, was knifed to death in Central Drive, Lower Gornal, at around 9.30pm on Tuesday.
He is understood to have left behind four children aged 13, 11, eight and four.
The stabbing happened after a Transit van rammed a Ford Fiesta into the front of Golden City Chinese takeaway.
A group of armed men are believed to have chased Mr Hussain before he was killed.
According to reports in the Lancashire Telegraph, Mr Hussain was visiting relatives in Birmingham and had gone to buy food from Golden City when he was attacked.
Ojala Pendle wrote on Facebook: "The family have lost a dear father, son and a brother.
"Family have requested all to pray for Yasir, may Allah Almighty forgive his sins and grant him a high rank in Paradise, Aameen!"
A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remained in custody on Friday evening. He was arrested in West Bromwich on Wednesday.
Three murder suspects arrested in Lower Gornal in the aftermath of the killing have since been released pending further investigations.
Meanwhile armed police will be patrolling the streets in Dudley tonight after West Midlands Police was granted stop and search powers for the third night in a row.
