Murder probe after man dies from serious injuries in Birmingham street
A murder investigation has been launched after a man died in a Birmingham street from serious injuries.
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after police were called to Sparkbrook on Tuesday night.
Police were called to Walford Road just after 7pm and found the man in the street.
He was pronounced died a short time later.
A cordon was put in place around the street while an investigation was launched.
The three men arrested remain in custody for questioning.
Detective Inspector Warren Hines, from Force CID, said: "We are working to establish what has happened which has led to the sad death of this man.
“At present the circumstances are less than clear so I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious to get in touch with me.”
