A second teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the street in Brownhills.
The 18-year-old suspect was arrested in the early hours of this morning and remains in police custody.
A 15-year-old arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday is also still in custody.
Meanwhile the 21-year-old victim remains seriously injured in hospital, where his condition is described as stable.
He was stabbed in Fourth Avenue, off Lichfield Road, at around 6.20pm on Tuesday after a dispute with a group riding bikes, West Midlands Police said.

The group fled the scene and officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Chris Fox from West Midlands Police CID, said: “This is a really nasty incident which has left the victim with serious injuries and we continue to try to establish the circumstances of what happened.
"Knife crime ruins lives and devastates families.
"We are determined to bring anyone who thinks it is acceptable to carry and use one to justice, but we need your help, so I would urge anyone who saw this, or has any other information which could assist our investigation to contact us as soon as possible.”
The stabbing was the third knife attack in the Black Country inside a week-and-a-half and happened less than two weeks after Richard Helm was stabbed to death in Wolverhampton and Christopher Harm was killed in Dudley.
Neighbour Cynthia Harvey, aged 74, has lived on Fourth Avenue for 48 years and said the area was usually quiet.
She said: “I was dozing on the settee watching the TV and all of a sudden I could hear this girl screaming, I think it was his partner, saying ‘He’s bleeding, somebody help me’, poor girl.
“I staggered out and loads of people were around him in the street.
“I’ve been poorly recently so my grandson has been staying with me, I’m glad he’s with me but I worry something might happen to him.
“I just don’t know what’s going to happen, it’s getting out of hand.
“I hear about these things happening in Wolverhampton and Dudley recently as I have kids and grandkids over there, but not here.”
