Man charged over alleged police officer hit-and-run
A man has been charged over an alleged hit-and-run attack on a female police officer.
Clover Johnson was due to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court this morning in connection with the incident which left the officer seriously injured on Hatherton Road, Walsall, on Thursday.
The officer had been called to diffuse a domestic incident when she was hit by a car.
Johnson, of Hilary Road, Pleck, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, assault, actual bodily harm and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
