Attacker dragged woman across Wolverhampton car park and hit her head on wall
An attacker dragged a woman across a car park and hit her head on a wall, police have said.
The 33-year-old woman was walking along Wolverhampton's Steelhouse Lane when she was approached from behind and grabbed.
A man then attacked her in a car park before she was able to scream for help at about 4am on Sunday.
The man, who is described as Asian, with short black hair and of medium build, then fled.
Detective Sgt Stuart Platt, from the police protection team, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious to get in touch with us.
“I am particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have stopped to help the woman. They may hold crucial information."
The attacker, who was wearing a dark hoody and trainers, is believed to be between 35 and 45-years-old and clean shaven.
