Four in court over terrifying robbery at Hyperama
Three men and a teenager will stand trial after a haul of cigarettes was stolen from a Black Country shop during a robbery.
Two staff members were tied and threatened with a gun and baseball bat by masked raiders during the incident at Hyperama on Richmond Street, West Bromwich, at around 8pm, on Monday.
The haul was loaded into a lorry which officers quickly tracked down to an address in Walsall.
The following four people will stand trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on May 8:
Satnam Singh, aged 50 from Jesson Road, Walsall
Jordan Warren, aged 18 from Andrew Road, West Bromwich
Paul Bardsley, aged 42 from Gayhurst Drive, South Yardley
A17-year-old boy who can’t be named for legal reasons
They appeared at Dudley Magistrate's Court on Wednesday charged with robbery and were released on bail.
