Pair arrested over attempted murder after gun fired from car
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a gun was fired at a car in broad daylight.
The men, aged 28 and 26 and both from the Walsall area, remain in custody at this time.
It follows an incident on Tuesday afternoon in Rowley Close, Cannock.
A gun was fired from a car towards another vehicle just after 3.30pm.
No-one was injured and both vehicles left the scene.
Police stopped a car, in Derby Road, Burton-upon-Trent, at 1.15pm on Wednesday.
The two occupants were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
