Four cars set alight in spate of Telford arson attacks
Arsonists have targeted four cars in a spate of attacks in Telford.
The first incident saw the front passenger seat of a car in Turreff Avenue, Donnington, was set on fire on the evening of Friday, March 30
Then in the early hours of Saturday a car in Keepers Crescent, St Georges, was "engulfed in flames".
Early on the morning of Sunday, the front of a car was set on fire in Hurleybrook Way, Leegomery, and on Wednesday, the inside of a car was burnt out in Corfield Crescent, Oakengates.
It's believed all of the fires were started deliberately and police are treating them as arson. No-one was injured in any of the incidents,
Detective Sergeant Danielle Logan of Telford CID said: "We're carrying out inquiries into all of these incidents and looking at whether or not they are linked. We're asking anyone who may have witnessed any of the fires, or have information about who may be responsible, to get in contact with us.
"We're working with our local safer neighbourhood teams to offer reassurance to local residents in the areas that have been affected and cannot stress enough the dangers of setting fires and the potential serious consequences it could have."
