Man charged over ram-raid at Smethwick's Jai Jewellers
A man has been charged in connection with a ram-raid at a jewellery store in Smethwick.
Kashawn Heath was arrested following the raid at Jai Jewellers, in Cape Hill, at around 6.20pm on March 9.
The 23-year-old from Landswood Road, Oldbury, has been charged with robbery.
He appeared at Dudley Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of trial.
Video footage of the ram-raid was posted on social media in the aftermath.
The police investigation is ongoing.
