Prosecutors allege Niron Parker-Lee murdered father-of-two Mansoor Mahmood after they battled in a Brierley Hill alleyway over a drugs dispute.

Parker-Lee, of Blewitt Street, Pensnett, denies murder but claims he stabbed Mr Mahmood in self-defence in the town’s High Street on October 15, 2016.

During the four-day trial, jurors heard both men dealt drugs in the area.

Prosecutor Mr Christopher Millington QC said Parker-Lee plunged a ‘Rambo-type’ knife into his victim’s body after they clashed in the street.

The victim, of Bague Walk, Brierley Hill, then ‘staggered’ to nearby Dixi Chicken, where he lost three litres of blood.

Parker-Lee, 20, told jurors during his trial he brandished a knife he had been carrying after Mr Mahmood attacked him first.
