Thousands share footage of masked robbers who attacked Dudley pensioners
More than 4,800 people have now shared footage of armed robbers fleeing after leaving two pensioners injured in their home.
The pair of masked men attacked the couple and made off with jewellery after barging into the Lower Gornal property.
It comes as police continue their hunt for the perpetrators, who brandished a blade during the Cinder Road robbery on Wednesday.
Neighbour John Mcgregor, whose CCTV footage has reached people across the region, said the incident has left the community in 'fear'.
He added: "It's disgraceful. It's not a one-off, this has been planned. I was angry because it seems like it's not opportunistic.
"They are definitely picking on the weaker people of society. Everyone is scared, upset."
The footage captures the pair rush off past Mr Mcgregor's home after targeting couple Pat and Jerry Lloyd, who live a couple of doors away.
Father-of-one Mr Mcgregor said he was alerted to the robbery after spotting police pull up in the street and noticed armed officers hurry towards the scene.
He later showed police the footage and said he struggled to sleep following the robbery as he was overcome with worry.
The 30-year-old said Mrs Lloyd is partially blind, while her husband has mobility issues, adding: "It was like a scene out of a film.
"They are retired and enjoying their retirement. Everyone in our street knows them. It's not very nice."
But Mr Mcgregor, who works in the construction industry, claimed he had spotted people posing as parcel delivery men outside the Lloyds' home in November.
He added: "I'm not shocked. It was a matter of time before something happened. Everyone seems to be getting very security conscious - gates, cameras, extra locks.
"I just dread to think [what would happen] if anyone raided my house with my kid in there."
The burglars assaulted the man and woman, both in their early 70s, before snatching the jewellery from their home, West Midlands Police said.
The victims were taken to hospital with minor injuries after police were called to the attack just before 7.30pm.
