Is this the most expensive McFlurry ever? Man arrested after late night dash to McDonalds
One man has been arrested and a Mercedes saloon seized after deciding he needed a late night trip to McDonalds.
The driver was hoping to grab a McFlurry from the popular fast food chain but was stopped by police in the West Midlands after they discovered he had no insurance for the luxury car he was driving, which happened to be his friends.
Central Motorway Police Group, who stopped the man, have branded him a 'plonker' after posting the story on social media.
Officers said in a tweet: "Got that late night urge? That irritable itchy feeling that only a McDonalds McFlurry will satisfy? Well if you have, and you simply must go get one tonight, make sure you don't do it in your mates car with no insurance, like this plonker did #seized #MostExpensiveMcFlurryEver."
