Man arrested after dog thrown to its death from balcony in Oldbury
A dog was thrown to his death from a balcony of a flat in Oldbury.
West Midlands Police and the RSPCA are investigating and a man has been arrested.
Officers arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of animal cruelty after a dog was found thrown over a flat balcony in Wallace Close, Round's Green, on November 8.
On arrival officers found the dead dog and began investigations into tracing the owner.
Following work with the RSPCA, a 19-year-old was arrested on Sunday and remains in police custody this morning.
A police spokesman said: "RSPCA enquiries led to the suspect and the investigation is ongoing at this time."
