Driving instructor who sexually assaulted teenagers escapes jail

A driving instructor has been handed a suspended prison sentence for historic sex offences against two young women.

Stephen Wright, aged 53, and from Broadhurst Green, Cannock, had been found guilty of four charges of sexual assault.

The offences date back to 2010, 2011 and 2014 while the victims were aged 17 and 18.

Wright appeared at Stafford Crown Court today and was sentenced to eight months imprisonment which was suspended for 12 months.

He was also ordered to carry out 150 hours of community service while he will be registered on the sex offenders register for ten years.
