Masked men rob Staffordshire village Spar store

Police have appealed for help from the public following a raid on a shop robbery.

Two men wearing balaclavas broke into robbed the Spar in Wheaton Aston at 1.30am yesterday and police have asked anyone with information to come forward.

They stole cigarettes and scratch cards and got away in a silver 4x4 driven by a third man at 1.30am in the early hours of Friday morning at around 1.30am.

One man was wearing a green top, blue jeans and green wellies while a second wore a dark-coloured top and blue trousers.

Anyone with information that may help with the investigation have been advised to call 101 quoting incident number 29 of September 29 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
