Two cars stolen from driveways in Bridgnorth

Police are appealing after a spate of car thefts in Bridgnorth.

Two cars were stolen from the driveways of two homes in the space of a few days.

In the early hours of Sunday, thieves with a white Audi forced entry into a property in Salop Street.

They took the car keys from the kitchen and stole a grey VW Golf. The car was later since heading towards the West Midlands.

It happened between the hours of 12.30am and 4.30am.

The car's number plate was R23 MJD.

Meanwhile, between 6pm on Friday and 3pm on Sunday, a house in Washbrook Road was raised while the family were away.

Car keys were taken and a blue Subaru was stolen from the drive. The number plate of the vehicle was BG66 PLU.
