Featuring murder, drugs, dodgy detective work and courtroom drama, the death of Kevin Nunes remains a controversial topic.

In September 2002, the 20-year-old's body was found pistol-whipped and bullet-ridden in a country lane in Pattingham.

In the 15 years since, five men have been convicted and then cleared of the gangland killing and 14 police officers have been investigated for their role in the botched murder probe.

The IPCC is now finally set to reveal the findings of its five-year investigation into Staffordshire Police, but will it tell us what went wrong and who is accountable? Rob Golledge examines the case:
