Firearms officers called as violence breaks out on Wolverhampton street
Armed police were called to a serious outbreak of fighting in Wolverhampton.
Swarms of officers descended on the A459 Dudley Road, in Blakenhall, and made four arrests.
Four teenagers, aged between 13 and 17 from the Penn Fields and Bradmore areas, remain in custody today.
They will be questioned by police later.
The incident near Phoenix Street, known locally as Little India, attracted dozens of onlookers.
No one was hurt during the disturbance.
West Midlands Police spokesman Craig Hughes said officers were called to reports of disorder at around 6.15pm last night.
"Firearms officers attended and four people have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder," he said.
"No-one is believed to have been injured."
