Thunderbirds are go

A toy and collectables shop in Wolverhampton has three rare replica models from the television show.

They are vintage items produced in 2001 which are the same size as the original models, and are on sale at King Street Toys and Collectables.

Thunderbird 2, Thunderbird 3 and Lady Penelope pink Rolls Royce, with the registration plate FAB 1 are the items up for sale.

They were created by Gerry Anderson, who produced the items under his former company Product Enterprise.

Each item comes boxed with a certificate signed by Mr Anderson, who died in 2012, aged 83.

Joint owner Ricki Guy said: "We've never come across anything like these before.

"A collector was downsizing his property and we bought them off him.

"They are beautifully hand-crafted and will make a unique and great addition to someone's collection."

The models are priced at £700 each.
