Teenage girl's head fractured in 'hammer' attack
A teenage girl's skull was fractured when she was attacked with what is believed to be a hammer in Stafford.

The girl, aged 17, suffered the injury after a dispute between a group of teenagers on Railway Street at around 6pm on Sunday evening.
The argument ended when the girl was hit on the back of her head with a weapon, believed to be a hammer.
The girl was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where she was diagnosed with a fractured skull and received stitches for her head wound.
She was later released to recuperate at home.
Staffordshire Police have arrested a 17-year-old man who has been released on bail pending further inquires.
