The funding will also allow the family-owned and operated business – which specialises in custom display solutions for exhibitions across the UK and Europe – to buy state-of-the-art machinery that will be used to design and construct an increased quantity of event stands and create more specialist signage for clients.

The funding from HSBC UK already enabled Taylex to refurbish its new 30,000 sq ft premises in Amber Way, which it acquired after outgrowing its previous 10,000 sq ft premises in Belbroughton.

Refurbishment plans include new sanitary facilities, heating systems, new work spaces and storage facilities.

Karl Clark, managing director of Taylex Displays, said: “Since starting the company 12 years ago, we have always been passionate about providing our clients with the best solutions for their needs. With the funding from HSBC UK we are now able to continue giving our clients the best quality designs and displays, as well as continue to grow our client base as we now have the increased workspace and more efficient equipment.”

Dan Pawar, a relationship manager at the bank, added: “HSBC UK is dedicated to supporting businesses right across the Midlands and beyond, so we are thrilled to support local business, Taylex Displays which has shown promising growth in recent years. We look forward to continuing our support for the company as it evolves and grows.”

Taylex Displays, which was founded in 2006, aims to provide its clients with a personalised service from start to finish, working to design, craft and install top quality displays at events such as Medica Trade Fair and Motorcycle Live.
