The awards programme recognises the city centre businesses which drive the economy and bring people together - from professional services and health, beauty and wellbeing to retail, hospitality and leisure.

More than 100 businesses entered the awards, which celebrate sector, individual and team excellence in Wolverhampton city centre.
A total of 11 winners will be announced at a glittering awards evening at Wolverhampton’s Grand Palace in School Street on Thursday July 10.

Cherry Shine, managing director of Wolverhampton BID, said: “We’ve been delighted by the response to the BID Excellence Awards 2025. There were entries from all sizes of businesses, from national chains to independent businesses - all representative of the vibrant mix you can find in Wolverhampton city centre.
“It was incredibly difficult to shortlist the businesses, so all of the finalists should be immensely proud of reaching this stage. The judges will face an even tougher decision.”

The People’s Favourite Business category, which received more than 1,200 individual nominations in the first round, will be voted for by the public.
The finalists are: Ana's Coffee Shop, Katie's Kitchen, Rectory House Beauty and Wellness, Sweet Memories, Witch Elm Markets in the Mander Centre.
People can cast their vote on the Enjoy Wolverhampton website.
Cherry Shine said the awards, which were first established in 2023, will be a "true celebration of Wolverhampton" - adding: "We can’t wait to announce the winners at the Grand Palace in July.”
