Plans to change use of former Netherton church which is now a children's nursery
An application has been lodged with council planners seeking permission to change a former Netherton church into a children's nursery - three months after the facility opened.

Hearts Day Nursery, in Halton Street, has applied for a change of use after opening its doors to little ones on January 20 in the former premises of the old Netherton Christadelphian Hall which has been extensively remodelled.
The application seeks retrospective permission for the change - saying the "proposal represents an opportunity to bring back into use the application premises which has been vacant for over two years" as well as creating jobs and extra childcare provision in the area.
