Former Birmingham adult education centre for sale at auction with £500,000 price tag
A former adult education centre owned by Birmingham City Council is to go under the hammer at auction with a guide price of £500,000.
The rundown listed building, which has a guide price of £500,000+, is the latest in a string of surplus properties put up for auction by the cash-strapped council.

Commercial property agency Bond Wolfe has been instructed by Birmingham City Council to sell the former Trittiford Learning Centre, at 109-111 Trittiford Road in Moseley, in its livestreamed auction on Thursday May 15.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “The building needs refurbishment, but is a substantial vacant freehold former education and training centre and may be suitable for redevelopment, subject to planning permission.”
The former adult education centre is surrounded by a mix of residential and commercial properties.
The ground floor includes a main hall, 21 rooms and offices of varying size, store rooms, four WCs and two conservatories.

There is also access to a basement area.

On the first floor are three offices and a kitchen area, with an attic area on the second floor.

There are gardens in the grounds and off-road parking.

The property auction, which starts at 8.30am, will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website, with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
