Production supervisor Ewelina Lewocka and Quality Engineer Richard Doody both completed the nationally-recognised leadership programme in under 18 months.

The qualification covers a wide range of topics, including leadership, finance, self-awareness, emotional intelligence and motivational techniques.

It is aimed at young managers who want to expand their management and strategy skills.

Ewelina, who supervises 30 people at Anochrome Technologies, said: “The qualification has helped me a lot.

“English is not my first language which sometimes made it a bit more difficult, but to come away with a recognised certificate is fantastic and I’m grateful to the business for giving me the opportunity.”

Richard said: “It has taught me how to handle situations differently and how to communicate effectively.

“It was difficult finding the work-education-life balance, but it has been a very rewarding experience.”

The qualification finished with an exam, presentation and professional discussion.

Ewelina has been with Anochrome Technologies for 14 years, while Richard has completed 15 years.

Mark Smith, Assistant General Manager at Anochrome Technologies, praised the pair for their commitment to progression.

“I have seen tremendous growth in both Ewelina and Richard over the last two to three years,” he said.

“They have both put in a lot of work and effort and deserve their success.”
