Dudley care provider backs charity ball for dementia care

A Dudley based care provider stepped up to sponsor an event which raised nearly £20,000 for charity.

Bridgewater Home Care backed the Dudley Group NHS Charity Glitter Ball, held at the Copthorne Hotel in Dudley

In total, the event raised an impressive £17,570 to support dementia care initiatives at Russells Hall Hospital, significantly impacting the local community.

"Community advocacy is central to Bridgewater Home Care's mission. By supporting events like the Glitter Ball, the company aims to foster meaningful conversations about dementia care and inspire collective action," said Christopher Taylor, Managing Director of Bridgewater Home Care. 

“Dementia affects countless lives in every community, and addressing its challenges requires a unified effort.

“We were honoured to support the Dudley Group NHS Charity Glitter Ball, which highlights the importance of both innovation and compassion in dementia care. This event demonstrates the power of coming together to drive meaningful change.”

The funds raised will be used to purchase Mobii interactive magic tables—portable, state-of-the-art technology designed to enhance the lives of dementia patients by fostering engagement and cognitive stimulation.
