Wolverhampton digital firm bags hat-trick of awards
A Wolverhampton digital agency is celebrating after bagging a string of awards recognition in November.
Managing director of science-park based VOiD Applications Chris Carter picked up the Entrepreneurial Award at the University of Wolverhampton’s Alumni Awards on November 7 in recognition of his success growing the company since it was established in 2012 with cofounder and marketing director Neil Cooper.
The Alumni Awards celebrate the incredible achievements and careers of University of Wolverhampton alumni and dedicated volunteers.
Chris Carter said: “I am so proud to win this award for entrepreneurship. The University of Wolverhampton was key in helping us start VOiD Applications, and 12 years later we’re still here. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way and worked with us.”
Two weeks later, VOiD Applications was highly commended in the Consultancy & Professional Services and Small Business of the Year categories at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, following on from two award wins at the event last year.
The awards, which took place at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls on November 21, celebrated the achievements of the region's business community.
Chris Carter said: “Being recognised by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce two years in a row is an honour for the team and a testament to our sustained growth, innovation and commitment to excellence.
“It reaffirms our ongoing dedication to providing top-tier digital solutions for our clients and reflects the hard work and unwavering dedication of our team, who go above and beyond for every project.”
