The 2019 Wolverhampton Business Programme kicked off yesterday, as company bosses attended an interactive and digital marketing event at Casino 36 on Temple Street.

It marked the start of two weeks of events designed to boost business in and around the city, offering opportunities in networking, trade and apprenticeships.

Two more events will be held today; Independent Business Support, at the Enterprise Suite on Temple Street at 2.30pm, and the Wolverhampton Business Forum networking event, at Light House in the city centre at 6.30pm.

Organisers are encouraging as many businesses from around the city as possible to get involved with the programme, which could open doors for growth and other opportunities.

The programme, which runs until October 2, then takes a mini-break until next Tuesday when a range of events get into gear

Business Health, Wealth and Trading on eBay will take place on Tuesday at Molineux's Hayward Suite from 10am before a Coffee and Natter networking event at the same location from 1pm.

City council bosses have spoken excitedly about the return of the scheme for the sixth year and say it demonstrates their commitment to supporting business growth and boosting the local economy.
