Retro diner shuts at Merry Hill shopping centre
A retro-style American diner has closed at Merry Hill shopping centre.
Ed's Easy Diner, which opened in December 2015, is the latest business to shut in the centre. BHS, Early Learning Centre, Tiger and Sainsbury's have all closed over the past 12 months.
A spokesman for Intu, which owns the centre, said: "We’re disappointed to hear that Ed’s Diner has closed down. This is a commercial decision taken by Ed’s Diner. We wish their staff well."
Sam Wignell, brand director at Ed's Easy Diner said: "This has been a very difficult decision, and we are currently discussing with staff, the potential of alternative positions within the brand."
