Rail services delayed or cancelled after trespassers seen on line between Sandwell & Dudley and Wolverhampton
Rail passengers headed between Birmingham and Wolverhampton were met with delays following reports of trespassers on the line.

West Midlands Railway put out a notice at around 3pm to let travellers know that due to trespassers being located on the line between Sandwell & Dudley and Wolverhampton, all lines had been blocked.
Tickets for rail services were being accepted with Midlands Metro Services between Birmingham and Wolverhampton, with West Midlands Railway saying that it expected the issue to be resolved by 5pm and services back to normal by 5.30pm.
It was later confirmed by British Transport Police that officers had been sent to the line after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man, who was found and taken to a place of safety.
A spokesman for West Midlands Railway said: "We've been told that because of trespassers on the railway between Sandwell & Dudley and Wolverhampton, all lines are blocked.
"We will now work to understand how this will impact our service and provide you with our advice shortly
"We expect the problem to be fixed by 5pm and we estimate that our train service will be back to normal by 5.30pm.
"We do have ticket acceptance with Midland Metro between Birmingham and Wolverhampton."
A further update at 3.49pm said: "The trespasser has been removed, there are residual delays whilst the line recovers. "
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line near Tipton at around 3pm today following reports of concern for the welfare of a man seen trackside.
"Officers attended and a man was taken to a place of safety."
