Motorcyclist dies in crash on M6 Toll near Burntwood - police seeking witnesses

A motorcyclist has died following a serious collision on the M6 Toll road, police have confirmed.

The collision, which involved a black, red and silver Ducati motorcycle, happened on the southbound M6 Toll road near T6 for Burntwood at around 5.30pm on Friday (May 30).

Despite the best efforts of police and West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene, the motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man, died at the scene.

Staffordshire Police has now launched an appeal for witnesses and has asked for anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to get in touch as soon as possible.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision on the M6 Toll.

"We are keen to speak to anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, or those with any information that could help collision investigators.
